Is this the same as a real estate agent?
No. Agents give you an honest, observational report of what they saw — photos, video, and their opinion — not professional real estate or legal advice.
What if the agent doesn't show up?
Your deposit stays in escrow until a report is delivered. If the visit doesn't happen, your money is refunded, not paid out.
How much does it cost?
Every inspection starts at a flat $75 base fee. You can add extras when you post your request — like having the agent check out the local school or nearby parks — and you'll see the total cost update before you submit, so there's never a surprise.
